Ellen Rothweiler is our Director of Children, Youth, and Family ministry, overseeing our

Ellen grew up in Des Moines, and was raised in ELCA congregations. With over 20 years of experience working in youth ministry, Ellen has a passion for the church and the ways in which it can be a safe and supportive community for children and families.

Outside of worship, Ellen enjoys spending time with her family, as well as her two pets—one dog and one cat. She often hosts dinners in her home, and is excited by opportunities to meet new people!
